Mosaic Book a demo

Quote. Plan. Schedule. Orchestrate.

One AI for metal fabrication and machining shops, from the first RFQ to the last part out the door.

Intake

Drop the whole RFQ. Every file type, as it arrived.

No re-drawing, no converting, no retyping the parts list. Mosaic takes 3D models, flat patterns, multi-sheet PDFs and grainy scans in one package, then matches every file to the part it describes.

  • 3D solids: STEP and IGES
  • 2D CAD: DXF and DWG flat patterns
  • PDF drawing sets and scanned prints
  • Parts lists and cover letters, matched to parts

Read

From flat print to a part it understands.

Clean PDF or crooked fax, Mosaic traces the flat pattern, reads the notes, finds the bends and rebuilds the part in 3D, so every cost is tied to real geometry.

Price

A quote you can defend, line by line.

Every dollar traces back to something: sheet price, nest utilization, cut length, bend count, finish, setup. You see the reasoning, a confidence score, and the fields to review before it goes out.

  • Material, nested on a 60 × 120 in sheet

Then it connects the office to the floor.

A quote is the first of many decisions. Tessera, the AI agent inside Mosaic, sits between your ERP, CRM and cloud drives on one side and the machines on the other. It checks each system before it commits, and records why every call was made.

  • Reads stock and costs from the ERP
  • Pulls the latest revision from cloud files
  • Applies customer terms from the CRM
  • Routes work by live machine queues

Plan & schedule

Know what's coming. Schedule what's real.

Mosaic forecasts demand from your order history, open quotes and CRM, turns it into material you need to buy, and builds a schedule against real machine capacity. When a rush job lands, Tessera re-plans and tells you exactly what moved.

  • Forecast demand by part family
  • Turn forecast into material to buy
  • Schedule every operation on real capacity
  • Re-plan in seconds when things change

Learn

Every finished job sharpens the next quote.

When the job runs, real cycle times, scrap and hours flow back from the machines and the ERP. Mosaic compares them with what it quoted and adjusts, so estimates drift toward how your shop actually works, not how a rate table says it should.

  • Quote won becomes a job
  • Machines report actual run time
  • Estimate model updates per part family
  • Next RFQ is priced on your real numbers

About Mosaic

Quoting a part shouldn't take longer than making it.

Mosaic is building one AI for metal fabrication and machining shops. It reads every drawing, prices every job, plans demand, schedules the floor and keeps your systems in sync, so the people who run shops can spend their time making parts.

What we believe

Three rules we build by

Shop-floor truth beats rate tables

Every estimate is checked against what really happened on the machines, and corrected with the evidence attached.

Show the work

Every price traces back to geometry, material and your own rates, with a confidence score. No black boxes.

People make the call

Tessera proposes. Nothing touches pricing, schedules or customers until someone on your team approves it.

The team

Built by its founders

Mosaic pairs two mechanical engineers with 5+ years of hands-on shop-floor experience and an AI engineer with a background in finance. Together we combine deep manufacturing domain expertise, cost and margin discipline, and modern machine learning to build AI-native software that fits how real shops run.

Co-founder & CEO
Michael Lynch

Michael Lynch leads Mosaic as CEO, driving strategy and go-to-market and working side by side with the shops that use it.

A mechanical engineer by training, Michael has spent 5+ years on the shop floor in metal manufacturing and at Lockheed Martin. He's seen firsthand how slow quoting, manual scheduling and disconnected systems cap a shop's throughput, and he built Mosaic to turn that operational know-how into a scalable, data-driven platform.

Thomas Lynch

Thomas Lynch runs operations as COO, making sure Mosaic fits the way each shop actually quotes, plans and schedules, from first RFQ to on-time delivery.

Thomas is a mechanical engineer with 5+ years of shop-floor experience in metal manufacturing, including at Lockheed Martin. He knows production end to end: routings, workcenter capacity, lead times and continuous improvement, and he leads implementation so every shop sees measurable ROI fast.

Co-founder & CTO
Michael Sewack

Michael Sewack leads product and engineering at Mosaic, from the models that read drawings to Tessera, the agent that plans, schedules and keeps a shop's systems in sync.

During his internship at Energy Transfer, Michael delved into computer science and found his passion for artificial intelligence and reinforcement learning architecture. He now applies machine learning, computer vision and agentic AI to turn messy drawings and shop data into accurate, explainable quotes and optimized schedules.

Where we are

Close to the shops we build for

Mosaic is based in Scranton, Pennsylvania. We spend our weeks with estimators, planners and machine operators, and the product changes every time we do.

Careers

Help rebuild how metal parts get made.

We're a small, early team building AI that quotes, plans and schedules for real fabrication and machining shops. If you like hard problems with a physical answer, we'd like to meet you.

How we work

What working here is like

Time on the floor

Everyone spends time with the estimators and operators we build for.

Real ownership

You'll own whole features, from the drawing parser to the screen a shop owner uses.

Short loops

We ship every week and hear back from pilot shops directly.

Evidence over opinions

We measure quotes against actuals, and decisions against results.
